    – The NECA works for the betterment of its members, electrical contractors in general and the construction industry as a whole. More than 4,000 electrical contractors are members in 118 chapters.

    – NFPA is a worldwide leader in providing fire, electrical, and life safety to the public. The mission of NFPA is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by developing and advocating scientifically based consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education.

    – The IBEW has coordinated with Prudential to implement a self-directed investment plan. The Annuity Fund Self-Direction program was discussed during the four investment seminars held through August.

    – The NLRB is an independent Federal agency created in 1935 to enforce the National Labor Relations Act. The NLRB conducts secret-ballot elections to determine whether employees want union representation and investigate and remedy unfair labor practices by employers and unions.
